Experience Botswana

MTE3OTU3The Okavango is one of Africa’s most impressive wildlife areas. As famous as Tanzania’s Serengeti or Kenya’s Masai Mara, the Okavango is the world’s only inland delta and is an area of exceptional natural beauty. Lily-scattered flood plains and palm-fringed islands here have exceptionally high concentrations of Africa’s big game in one of the continent’s most beautiful settings. The Okavango is an area that exceeds expectations and would certainly stake its claim as the world’s best safari destination.

We offer boat safari trips where you can spend two or three nights exploring the lower reaches of the delta by motor boat, camping on remote palm fringed islands as we go.

The islands are big game country with elephants, buffalo, kudu and giraffe all plentiful. Elephants are often found feeding or cooling off. There are various hippo pools, lagoons, backwaters and channels that can be explored.

To discuss ideas about exploring the Okavango delta, or to ask any questions, please email info@kessaschalets.co.bw and we’ll be happy to help.
